Good point Dr. Rivera. I agree that the blog should be used to reinforce upper level graduate writing. In addition to the basic skills such as grammar, I think that as graduate students, professionals in the community, and productive members within the educational system, we need to demonstrate analytical thinking, writing, and oral communication skills. We not only want to promote a higher level of thinking and communication through our professional work, but by setting an example for our future leaders and professionals.
